YOU'LL SLEEP SOUNDLY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW OUR BEDS ARE MADE
BED ASSEMBLY
We spend over one-third of our lives in bed, not only sleeping but also reading and relaxing, all good reasons for Baronet to pay extra special attention to how it makes its beds. A bed needs to be extra sturdy. It must also be dismantled easily into parts that can pass through a door. All Baronet beds are tested to an approved weight capacity of 600 pounds/273 kilograms to meet proven standards for safety and stability.

BED FRAMES
Our beds are designed for years of comfort and maximum support. Baronet uses three types of bedsteads.

WOODEN SLATS
The most common bedsteads are wooden slats. Baronet’s twin-slat system provides outstanding comfort for your bedding with extra support in mid-bed area. Your mattress is fully supported by a lattice of solid poplar slats, reinforced by center-floor post(s). With this type of frame support, a single mattress – without box spring – is all you need.

METAL AND WOOD BEDSTEAD
Our metal bedstead is a slatted base with a rigid metallic structure supporting an ideal number of curved plywood slats ergonomically positioned along the entire length of the base. Each plywood slat combines the natural strengths of wood – flexibility, ergonomics and comfort – with high-tech engineering. Also designed for single mattresses (no box spring required).

TRADITIONAL
Our traditional bedstead systems use four cross slats supported by a tie-bar for maximum stability. This type of frame support is reinforced by two center-floor posts and is designed for use with a box spring and mattress.
We reserve the right to change products specifications without notice.

THICKER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER WHEN IT COMES TO MATTRESSES
Standard American mattresses today range from about 8 inches (20 cm) to more than 15 inches (38 cm) in thickness. We recommend a maximum thickness of 12½ inches (30.5 cm) for Baronet platform beds. When buying a mattress, always make sure that the thickness does not hide the beauty of your headboard.
